Description:
I am seeking a 3D model design of a truck observation deck (TOD) that will fit within the bed of my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab truck (model CK15543). In addition to the 3D Model, 2D cad/engineering drawings are required so that a fabricator can construct the TOD out of carbon steel. The attached word document details out what I am interested in and provides photo examples of similar TODs for reference.
Wants:
full dimensional drawings with tolerances and welding symbols shown at all joining locations of the structure. 3D model that shows the TOD in the bed of a truck (drawings of the truck bed included in attached file of the contest but needs to be modeled - simple model is fine). Confirmation of the dimensions in the models to ensure no interference fits or other issues.
theoretical weight (in pounds and kilograms) of the structure with calculations provided. Suggestions on weight reduction options appreciated. TOD must look structurally sound (e.g. gussets/cross members etc).
All 2D cad fabrication drawings to be sent in high resolution PDF.
3D model that I can login and view on line, as I do not have personal 3D model or cad software on my computer. Preference for Fusion 360 but not mandatory.
Don't Wants:
simple illustrations
to check the drawings and see that the structure will not properly fit into the bed of my truck.
Software:
  1. Autodesk Fusion 360
Additional Information
1. The minimum inside length of my truck bed is 67.91", as noted on dimension H of drawing ANB70929.17. I suggest the length to 60" resulting in a TOD standing area of 70" wide x 60" long. This will give a good clearance between the truck tail gate and the backside of the TOD.

2. Based on my review of the truck bed and cab dimensions using drawings ANB70929 pages 12 and 31, I calculate the distance from the floor of the truck bed to the top of the truck cab to be 41.67" ( 16.71" + 21.02" + 58.12"-54.18"). I need for the standing area of the TOD to be 6-7" greater than this dimension. So the legs (distance between the bottom of the base and bottom of the standing area) of the TOD should be ~48" long.

Thank you to all the contestants for the thoughtfulness and energy that you put into your designs. Given the high quality of submissions and quick turn-around on clarifications and update, I added a second place prize.

Congratulations to the first and second place winners! Your designs were the best at meeting my needs, in terms of complying with the specification, functionality, constructability, and quick turnaround on comments/clarifications. I would also like to recognize Ahmad-Ali, as his submission was the best at optimizing the design in a way that best transmitted the loads from the TOD into the frame of the truck. I will keep many of you in mind if I do another contest or want to direct hire for projects. Many thanks

Draftcad3D, what you say maybe true in some instances about subcontracting but not in this instance. This is for the personal use of my family and me and this is the first time that I have ever asked for a crowd sourced project. Part of the logic in my contest pricing is that 1) I have never asked for a crowd sourced project and 2) I was trying to purchase the used TOD shown in the truck bed photos for $800 but someone bought it before I could. So after this contest is over, I will be having this fabricated at a cost well above what I missed out in buying used + the cost of this contest. There is a possibility that the fabrication cost may exceed my budget such that I do not have this made, but regardless, i will be paying the winner of the contest, as I greatly appreciate the time and energy that professionals are putting into this. 3) I am also a degreed mechanical engineer (although I’ve not done detailed engineering in or cad/modeling in 18 years) who appreciates the importance of professionals. For reference, I will upload the photo of the TOD that was for sale. I hope this added context helps.

Message for all professionals who will participate in this project
Know that when working on projects like this you draw a line well below the values that are generally charged.
On the other hand, the owners of the contest can deny the prize, they are within their rights.
Generally those who set such a low price are subcontracting. They are not the end customers.
Always go to the profile and see how much they report.
Let's all take care of our profession.

Hello, I agree with @draftcad3D. As yui stated. 3D model is required and detailed 2D drawings. Probably 2D drawing for your project would take longer than 3D, and I give my opinion that the current budget is not enough for this project. If you don't plan to increase it, good luck with the receiving projects :)

Hi, Matt! I'm interested in working on this project and have already began working on it.

@mattk3 Thanks for answering. I have 25 years of experience in technical & mfg drawing.
The 3D model can certainly take 3 to 4 hours.
On the other hand, 2D drawings with all the information and study require at least 10 to 15 hours plus 2 hours of revisions. Approximately 20 hours.
And obviously you don't know FUSION.
I wish you the best of luck and don't underestimate the professionals who are in this network.
Greetings

Hi, I stated working on this and it seems like you haven't specified the thickness of the flooring. Would it be ok if I gave it a random value for now?

Web Designing is the future of all online based industry. Not only online but offline businesses need online promotions to gain business. Every company, service, product is all now based out of WWW.

Lets assume 10 years from now, do you think you will increase your shopping online, looking for information, learning skills, services, products, companies or will you decrease it ?,A HREF="https://www.caba.in/courses/advanced-web-designing-course/">WEB DESIGN COURSE IN DELHI</A>

Inflatable Spray Tanning Tent
I am a mobile spray tanner and currently using the standard mobile spray tan pop up tent. They are very difficult to clean and if you are busy tanner like me the tent gets very dirty very quickly. My website is crazyelegance.co.uk How do you clean - very difficult and messy job so why not be able to put the tent in the washing machine! So for this, all elements of the tent need to be material with no metal bits of which then it has to become a structure that is inflatable. I have no experience with design packages so I am hoping this is enough information for someone to help me put my concept into a reality so that I can then move to the next stage of having a tent prototyped for me. Visually the design has been based on a ‘round shape’ but in order for this to work with the flow of air the design may not be a perfect round and would be more like large octagon or pentagon. There will be 3 clear windows and a complete clear top 'skylight' I feel the current design of spray tan tents doesn't give enough light into the tent to enable you to see what you are doing. Inflated via a constant blow of air (bouncy castle) that will enter all panels constantly via blower – this will need to be shown at the back of the tent - details of energy efficient blow for constant airflow https://www.slideshare.net/MaconLong/introducing-inflatable-blowers-for-bounce-houses-other-inflatables-offered-by-zoom-blowers-60501796 I am not sure for the air to flow properly if their needs to be a panel of air flow from the bottom of the tent as per the top of the tent until I see the design. Attachment of towels to the floor of the tent via pre-designed towels that are press studded down onto the floor to prevent a trip hazard - to be designed at a later date but to made a provision for within the tent design. Lighting attachment – battery operated (possible development)
Breakaway and adjustable collar for cats
Features: 1) Breakaway - cats can release the clip by itself for safety reason. 2) Adjustable - pet owner can adjust the tension of collar for different sizes of pets. E.g. Higher tension for bigger cats, which makes them more difficult to release the clip themselves than kitten. 3) The design will be for small sized buckle that attaches to a 3/8" wide strap. It would be good if it can fit the smallest size to 1/8" as well. But 1/8" is a bonus feature not a must. 4) The CAD format has to be 3D print. We will test the feasibility of the design with 3D printers. 5) The design should not infringe on an existing patent.
