Hello, I am Mechanical Engineer, currently living in Halifax, Canada. I have 9 years of experience in designing a variety of products like Microwave Ovens, Juicers, Luminaires, etc. I have worked with many globals brands like LG Electronics, Philips. I have a PG diploma in Tool Design, so have an excellent understanding of DFM. I have a solid understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, Sheet metal components, Plastic components, Extrusion components. I can work on the integration of components and can create fairly complex assemblies. I can work using Solidworks, Solid Edge, and Autocad. From studying customer requirements to concepts, detailed design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of prototypes all the way to mass production. My designs have covered a wide range of industry sectors including electro-mechanical devices, electronic communication systems, industrial, lighting, consumer good products and metal industries. Proficient experience in choosing and defining from various manufacturing technologies : injection molding, aluminium castings, extrusion, punching, form sheet metal parts, and CNC machining.
