Hello, I am Mechanical Engineer, currently living in Halifax, Canada. I have 9 years of experience in designing a variety of products like Microwave Ovens, Juicers, Luminaires, etc. I have worked with many globals brands like LG Electronics, Philips. I have a PG diploma in Tool Design, so have an excellent understanding of DFM. I have a solid understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, Sheet metal components, Plastic components, Extrusion components. I can work on the integration of components and can create fairly complex assemblies. I can work using Solidworks, Solid Edge, and Autocad. I have over 18 years of Automotive Tooling experience (Sheet Metal Forming Simulation / Finite Element Analysis, Surfacing, Solid Modeling, and Tool Design) . Due to this comprehensive tooling and Computer Aided Design knowledge, I have been retained by both the Engineering and CAD software developers Altair Engineering and Cimatron Ltd. for independent consultation on the continuing development and beta testing of their software. I obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree from S.U.N.Y. Binghamton and a Masters of Science Degree from S.U.N.Y.
