Worked as a CAD Technician and Architectural Technician, working on jobs ranging from small private house extensions to £100million+ high tech commercial facilities. I have been using AutoCAD daily for about 8 years, Revit Architecture for 2 years and I have experience using Sketchup, ArchiCAD and Photoshop. I have worked through all stages of design from Surveying existing, conceptual design, planning drawings, tendering, construction drawings, site work checking and approving contractor drawings and as-built drawings. I have worked in the oil,gas and process industries for over 40 years as an instrument and controls Designer / Engineer. I have worked on major projects both on and off shore. I have also worked for small companies designing an manufacturing electrical switchgear and control panels from design concept to installation and commissioning. I have used Smartplant Instrumentation, Solidworks 3D. Auto cad and Microsoft Office software systems to develop and design design and engineering documentation.
