I am an inquisitive, self-learning student currently gaining hands-on experience while finishing my college education. Currently, I am working towards a BS in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Systems at California Baptist University. Outside of school, I am heavily involved in the collegiate design competition Formula SAE where I lead a team of six engineering students in designing, fabricating, and validating the chassis and ergonomic systems of Cal Baptist Racings' sixth competing internal combustion racecar. In the past, I have worked in a variety of roles in multiple fields, including electrical, warehouse, and student life, where I have gained experience in teamwork and the execution of engineering solutions. My plan for the future is to continue gaining engineering experience through Formula SAE, summer internships, and scholastic projects.

I'm a detailed-oriented 3D modeler. My professional experience includes making models for IOT hub assemblies and precast concrete structures. However, my interest lies with toys, games, and general household items. I'm most comfortable using SolidWorks, but have experience in the 2D and 3D aspects of AutoCAD. I have experience with additive manufacturing and understand how to design a model with 3D printing in mind. My career spans the military and automotive industry. With nearly 20yrs of government experience, I understand the standards and regulations expected. Having a depth of applied background, using and troubleshooting aviation hardware and tooling, has provided a base for understanding design requirements and what will work. Working so closely with aviation and aerospace, my design concept is heavily a less is more method. I prefer lean manufacturing concepts, and strive to reduce weight and cost of all designs.
