Hello, I am a mechanical engineer working in the design and development industry for chemical products and processes. I've previously worked in defense contracting, automotive parts supplier, foundry & castings, plastic thermoforming, and general shop and fabrication with CNC Mill/Lathework. I have compentency in several CAD software programs but primarily use Fusion 360. I'm able to create components, assemblies, kinetic models, sheet metal flat patterns, DXF line work (laser, water, plasma), and drawings (GD&T). If you asked I would tell that I'm a little bit of everything. I've had training and experience in manufacturing and machinery, also training and experience in several different designing softwares (solidworks, inventor, auto cad, draft sight, and some CATIA) I'm the hands on designer so I know how things are put together, and taken apart, and i have a good idea of how things are machined and manufactured. I've always loved taking things apart seeing how they work, or trying to fix them, tinkering and fixing and building things. I've always loved the beauty of design, and trying to give my own designs and creations life.

I have 10 years experience in a sheet metal and machine shop engineering environment. In those 10 years, I have honed my skills in Solidworks and cad creation from both a technical and manufacturing production perspective. Creating 3D models, drafting blue prints and deriving functional flat patterns for use in production are daily tasks. I also regularly consult customers with concerns or recommendations which would improve their design cost-wise during manufacturing. I pride myself on my efficiency, creativity and attention to detail. A project example which I view as an accomplishment: I redesigned a long time job to meet evolving customer quality expectations while reducing engineering and planning costs. Using Solidworks, I created 3d models for the complex job's assemblies using dozens of configurations which were easily editable for both revision changes and use in similar jobs. This change reduced planning, drawing, drafting, and programming time by over 75% and greatly reduced the chance of error.

Let me be the first to welcome you to All-Out Designs. I'm sure you want to know who you will be working with. Here is a little bit about me. I hold a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University in Bozeman. My design background started much earlier than that when fabricating custom utility trailers in high school. I have a knack for all things mechanical which is what lead me to obtain my Engineering degree. My experiences consist of both strictly design and fabrication as well. The industries in which I've obtained my experience are broad, starting in Oil & Gas, moving to DoD, most recently in Aerospace. I've led diverse teams as a manager, and also worked right next to production running CNC machines. Not only can I help you with the design, but I know what it takes to make them as well.
