Hey there! Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been designing in various CAD and Illustration suites since 2010. Most of my 3D work experience comes from my time working for a small custom shop in Olympia Washington. There I used my mechanical inclination for surgical tool design and modification. Ive worked with many clients who needed custom designs within a short window of time, which I believe translates well to freelance design. About Me: In the past twenty plus years, working within large manufacturing facilities, I gained a considerable amount of experience. During this time I have been exposed to various complex mechanical, tooling and manufacturing problems and have gained a tremendous amount of hands on knowledge for solving these problems, giving me the necessary skills and abilities to improve and correct such problems that impede a company causing it to have lower quality and productivity. Jeff Peterson has 20 yeas 3D CAD experience and he started his career working in a small machine shops and factories. He graduated up through the trades. Got his degree in Vocational Education in Machine Trades after a short career teaching High School he took a position in industry as a inspector in the quality control department of an automotive seat belt company. He was promoted into engineering where he was assigned to the drafting and modeling department. From there he was promoted into a new R&D department. He came up with many new ideas and 5 were patented. And being the designer he was responsible for the product including purchasing, incoming inspection, manufacturing, testing, quality control, shipping and finally field return analysis. Hi, my name is Benjamin Ellis. I am a mechanical engineer living and working in the Chicago area. I received my BSME from Tennessee Technological University in 2012. My past work experience encompasses multiple responsibilities in high-volume manufacturing in the automotive sector, including tool design, process design, quality inspection methods, CMM and vision inspection system programming, robotics programming, PLC programming, process automation, machine design, metallurgy, CNC machining, and both 2D and 3D CAD, among others. Additional work experience includes roles in manufacturing process design and control, quality control, and product improvement at a steel fabrication facility.
