This project involved reverse engineering and 3D printing a clamp designed for aluminum casting. The clamp consists of two parts that combine to secure accessories to the main body of a streetlight pole. The process began with the damaged original piece, which was meticulously measured using calipers and micrometers. A precise reconstruction of the part was created in Fusion 360, then sliced using Ultimaker Cura and printed with an Ender 3 3D printer. The resulting prototype served as a model for the aluminum casting, ensuring the final product met the required specifications for functionality and fit.
