72' Rice Sprayer Boom

Designed specifically for the rice fields of California this device had several challenging design criteria. Specifically, a 72 foot wingspan that minimized weight, folded to under 102 inches for transport, and could absorb the repeated field motion and abuse. Over the course of four months I developed this product, going from concept sketches, through prototype testing, and finally to a minimum viable product that shipped to the final customer.
