Access Platform

This platform was designed to provide access to valves located in a Gas and Oil plant, with removable handrailing to provide clearance for future upgrades and services. RS40 Grating has been used for the flooring with Kick Plates attached to the handrailing. The entire structure was designed with bolted connections keeping in mind that the area on-site was subjected to safety regulation and is a non-open flame environment (to prevent welding on-site). A complete set of General Arrangement, Assembly and Single Part drawings were provided to the client along with DXF and .STEP files for nesting purposes. All modelling and detailing was completed using Solidworks 2021.
