This was a university project aimed at developing Aircraft elevator hydraulic actuator. From a known aircraft model and all of it's technical parameters hydraulic system along with mechanical linkage from the pilot's steering wheel to the elevator itself was designed. The project an incorporates an in-depth hydraulic, kinematic, aerodynamic and strength calculations. The 3D design was performed in Autodesk Inventor. The main 3D modelling part was aimed at designing elevator booster, which relieves the total loading the pilot has to apply to be able to successfully move aircraft elevator, while aircraft is at it's peak speed in the air. The design conditions were taken as 490 km/h with the air density at practically 0 m altitude, where the elevator is subjected to it's peak load for a given aircraft system.
