FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA) OF A SEMITRAILER SIDEGUARD

In the current task, the client requested a study of their new mudguard model, which is used on semi-trailers. It had to meet standard design parameters, but also comply with the conditions imposed by the transportation regulations of Argentina. Work Steps: 1- Arrival at the factory and sketch-based survey of the mudguard. 2- Simplified 3D modeling of the mudguard. 3- Execution of FEA analyses based on the conditions imposed by the regulations. 4- Results analysis and report generation.
