Formula SAE Wheel Hub

I needed to design a Formula 1 style Hub, capable of enduring the race loads without failure or over displacement, for the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Formula project, know as Formula SAE. Using the load data obtained from previews tests, I engineered the whole Hub, from choosing the shape all the way to the material used. And to test the design, I did a finite element analysis to determine the displacement and the stress when under the specified load. The Hub performed has expected, enduring the whole race, and the design is still being used by the team
