Granite Replicator A3 - CNC Machine FEA Simulation

The Granite Replicator A3 is something I’ve put together for a personal project of mine, because I wanted to explore the best way to construct a simple CNC- gantry assembly. As form and function go hand in hand, I took the opportunity to simulate my way through different designs and shapes with state of the art FEA analysis software. APPLICATION When the rest of the CNC-machine is designed, it would be possible to carve 3-4 metal parts at the same time! This will dramatically increase the amount of parts being produced and therefore also decrease the amount of required space for other machines to produce the same amount of parts. Furthermore it will be cheaper than to buy 3 machines to mass produce parts, as the three machining heads are mounted to the same gantry.
