Mast raising system

In this design, the French customer needed a system so that they can fold their mast while passing under low bridges. I designed the system from scratch, while only having the mast dimensions provided by the customer. The challenge here was keeping the mast's shape and only having long screws, while making sure the system stays stiff under heavy winds. To combat the salt water issue, we used Stainless Steel 316 when possible.
