PureForm Area Luminaire and award

This product design was conceived, designed and co-engineered by myself and my design team at Philips Lighting. It became their best selling outdoor luminaire in the US, and won awards, as well as design and utility patents. This involved not just aesthetic design based on form factor opportunities with the new technology of LEDs, but also optimizing thermal and optical, fasteners, casting draft angles, strength testing, and both appearance and functional prototyping.
