Serene retreat in Toyama | Atmospheric Exterior Rendering

A window to the interior always sparks curiosity and the urge to peek behind the curtain. We often find ourselves wondering: Who lives there? What does their environment look like? This curiosity draws us to the front window like moths to a flame. However, perhaps this information should remain private, with only an inviting warm light leaving those questions unanswered. This leaves room for fantasy, which is often more captivating than reality. Inspired by the serene beauty of Japanese lakeside houses, I aimed to create an image with a clear composition in both shapes and colors, featuring distinct foreground and background elements. The ice posed a unique challenge since there were no online guides for creating ice in Vray. I spent considerable time experimenting to achieve the desired material quality. Although there's still room for improvement, it was an intriguing challenge.
