Switch Bowling venue - IBN Battuta Mall - Dubai (UAE)

Designed at the beginning of 2010, the Switch Bowling venue was built at the IBN Battuta Mall in Dubai right in time to open at the end of the Ramadan, the same year. The project has been published on several magazines and has been awarded World Best Interior 2010 - in the field of sport venues. The whole concept design, detailing and executables were made by me, with the technical support of two interior designers from Romeo Design (Dubai), the assigned contract fitout manufacturer and by my good friend Architect Irena Gmajner in Belgrade (and her architectural studio). We delivered an astounding 180 detailed drawings (floors, ceilings, elevations and sections) in less than one week. The whole project development took a little more than two months to be completed and approximately six months to build, from site demolishing and cleaning to grand opening. Switch is an Italian/Swiss based company manufacturing bowling machinery, designed by Pininfarina.
