Static strength and a buckling resistance analysis is performed for the traveling crane, consisting of span beams, end beams and a trolley. Span – 20 m, load capacity – 45 tons.
The case is solved in a non-linear setting. Among the elements of the model, the interface tool is used by taking into account the coefficient of friction.
An earthquake resistance analysis is performed for a site with seismicity 8 point.
Maximum stresses and deflections are determined. Values are shown to be within acceptable limits. Strength is then validated.
