X-Quad Antenna for 2.4 ~ 2.5 GHz (S-Band)

This is a model of a scaled down version of the 8-Director element (1 reflector and 1 Radiator (Driver) elements) X-Quad from Wimo (https://www.wimo.com/xquad-antennas_e.html) designed to operate on the 2.4 ~ 2.5 GHz ISM band. It can be custom tuned between elements. There are 2 additional holes at the end for a U-bolt or 2-fastener clamp. The Horizontal and Vertical Feeds are separate as press-in microcoax (MCX) Amphenol connectors. The total length is about 330 mm or 13 inches so it is very small for a desktop or portable use. I recommend chemical etching for elements and the radiator due to the small scale and for accuracy, but machining may be possible.
