New 3D Modeling Design Showcase

One of our wheelhouses here at Cad Crowd is 3D modeling and 3D design. We’re lucky enough to have an incredible pool of 3D CAD design talent here, and they’re forever working on a veritable constellation of projects. 3D modeling is used for all kinds of things in contemporary design. From digital prototyping to conceptualization to marketing materials to design for 3D printing, 3D modeling is at the heart of modern CAD design!

Look at these delightful and vibrant little tracking devices! Much of the art of industrial design is to produce products that look appealing and inviting, whatever their specific purpose might be. The quality of the rendering is amazing: look at those subtle reflections and lighting effects!

2. Orc Warrior 3D Modeling Design by Ib Vegger

This fearsome fellow is a piece designed for a tabletop game. Wouldn’t want to run into this guy in a dark alley. Not only is this a great character design, but the quality of the rendering is truly amazing. It might as well be a photograph of the piece.

3. Multi-Level Coffee Table Furniture Design by miker

This cool modern coffee table has a pretty classic aesthetic. The rounded wooden features and asymmetrical design make for a unique, organic looking piece of furniture design. The designer has thrown together some mockups using different tones of wood, check them out on the portfolio page!

Not entirely sure what a vacuum vessel design is, but this is a pretty intricate piece of CAD design work. Very detailed and intricate.

Ever notice how most public benches are both ugly and uncomfortable? What’s the deal with that? Wouldn’t the world be a better place were it full of benches more like this one? Sleek and minimalist but interesting and seemingly pretty comfortable, this is the kind of bench we need!

How cute is this? This adorable piece of children’s furniture is designed for CNC production and can be assembled without screws. Part of a set of furniture that would go great in any preschool or kindergarten class.

7. Concept Bike 3D Modeling Design by NikolaSiljanoski

This concept bike takes the typical bicycle form and lines and brings them to slightly unexpected places. The result is an aesthetic that is just a bit off-kilter, unconventional, and just slightly weird. A classy bike for those who appreciate things that are just a little bit different.
