Description:
i need someone who can not only draw several models ( i have all dims and DXFs) but can also make it come through including tool paths and parametrics as an .cix file ( Post available , i think ) and a .iso file ( i have Biesse Post but who knows )ready for my Biesse CNC. i have tooling names and years of experience in CNC operation but Fusion 360 is a whole different thing. the project should take about 1-3 weeks part time
Wants:
1 drawing in fusion 360 using 2 of my dxfs. toolpathed and sent out as .cix ( .cix doesnt have to run but i will check that the code is close enough to be modified. we will get it running by end of project) should only take 15 - 20 mins
Don't Wants:
people without CAM or post experience
Ask for Sample:
sample will be in the evaluation. happy to pay for the right persons sample.
Software:
  1. Autodesk Fusion 360

Hi Greg,
I submitted entry - posted the cix using the fusion 360 post. I searched for an iso post for the biesse "no luck".
The Biesse is a control I&;m unfamiliar with, my background is with a variety of 2-4 axis lathes and 3-5 axis mills "all iso code".
I do "occasionally" develop / modify post processors for customers, and I have never run into this particular situation.
Not sure if an ISO post is doable - the post developers for autodesk doesn&;t seem to want to attempt it - "but I&;ve always been told anything is possible when developing a post ☺"

Just to confirm there are no engraved features, its all just cut out right? even the text layer is just for your labelling convenience right now and you don&;t want that engraved on your door/woodframe thing?

Hi Greg,

Can you share details about the 5 tools that you want to use? specifically, the length, diameter, flutes, flute length, we can manually add those in. Along with any drills that you are using. There is Fusion Biesse library for giving results in .cix, but a generic one for giving .iso. would that be acceptable?

Also a question about the layer labelled "MDF Cutout" I assume this is something you want cut out? and the other features are just holes? and that&;s all that needs to get done on one 2400x1200 sheet of stock MDF right now? Just one piece, later we could do optimization and multiple pieces out of this one stock?

we use 16mm MDF that comes in 2400 x 1200 sheets . we run 2 different biesse CNC machines 1 is a skill 2412 load on load off and uses .iso files the other is a full labeling load on load off Biesse Rover s 2400x 1200 that uses .cix files. there are 5 tools involved and the naming requirements are very strict with both machines. our website Wallbeds Australia is geo blocked out side of Australia but if you go to www.sydneywallbeds.com.au they are one of our distributors and it will give you a good feel for what we make. hope that helps

Hello, please can you explain a little about this contest?

What CNC machine are you employing for this process, is it a CNC router, milling or laser cutting operation?
I also need to know what thickeness you are working with.

If you can probably provide a hand-drawn sketch for my better understanding. Cause I can only see a rectangular sketch with some holes. I need to understanding what CNC operation you want to carryout, the material used, thickness and CNC machine name and specifications for appropriate programming.

Truck Observation Deck
I am seeking a 3D model design of a truck observation deck (TOD) that will fit within the bed of my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab truck (model CK15543). In addition to the 3D Model, 2D cad/engineering drawings are required so that a fabricator can construct the TOD out of carbon steel. The attached word document details out what I am interested in and provides photo examples of similar TODs for reference.
Conceptional physics design
This is a abstract design for a physics project about energy conversion using high charge density. The design is called longitudinal plasma vortex energy converter: a counter-rotating outer quartz cylinder with an internal counter-rotating epicyclic gear train with a downward facing rounded point nozzle connected to a low-pressure turbine and located where the sun gear is located. The system also contains a clockwise-rotating inner quartz cylinder with an internal clockwise-rotating epicyclic gear train with a upward facing pointed edge nozzle connected to a low-pressure turbine and located where the sun gear is located. The representation is designed to showcase a closed system in which the plasma is pushed upward by the clockwise-rotating turbine and pointed edge nozzle and then pushed downward on the sides by the counter-rotating turbine and rounded point nozzle of the outer cylinder (motion shown by green arrows). Attached please find a drawing that I want the designer to refine to the best of his/her talent.
Simple file so I can inlay metal into wood
I just bought a nomad 883. I can run the machine, but don't know how to create the cad files I need. I am wanting to have a few files to inlay metal into wood. An example is here https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/5c/78/18/5c7818d9971b80c76165f8252815d02a.jpg I wanting these to be reusable files, so that I can change the text, or images, etc. I both need the negative to cut out of the wood and the positive to cut out of metal (or other materials). And obviously I will need to be able to adjust the depths and heights for future projects. Three things I need to accomplish: 1) Letters with Bitwise font or a similar retro computer font. I've tried to use this font with Fusion 360 and can't figure it out. But this font is important to the project. 2) State and Country metal cut outs. You don't have to upload all the states and countries, just a few so we see that it works and let me know where to get these to import on my own. 3) Any other shape I import. Once I can do #2, I can do any shape, right?
