Sending files with messages
Use your inbox to attach files directly with drag-and-drop or add to the chat using the attachment (📎) icon. All group chat members can access the attached files.
If you want to send large files (over 1 GB), you’ll have to send the files using several separate messages.
Granting system access or FTP
Clients and experts often utilize different tools for managing projects, storing data, sharing files, and job workflow. While it’s okay to share project-related information from these systems, including giving others access, it’s essential to exercise caution when sharing proprietary or confidential information. Be mindful of sensitive information and consider implementing limited access permissions when possible.

Questions and answers
âš¡ Are there exceptions to sharing contact information?
In two instances, individuals might exchange their personal contact details for a job contract:
- Legal documents: In the event that users need to exchange or gather data that could contain contact details, such as for legal reasons like non-disclosure agreements or IP (intellectual property) assignment contracts.
- Login/FTP access: In cases where experts must supply their email addresses to access a system or file library necessary to complete the work.
Under these circumstances, the sharing of contact details is allowed; however, all correspondence must continue to occur through Cad Crowd.
📡 Note: The platform automatically removes contact information and flags messages for spam. Please get in touch with the support team before sharing contact information to ensure the spam prevention system whitelists your message.
âš¡ How should I respond if a client or expert requests my contact details?
If a client or expert inquires about your contact details, be aware that this violates Cad Crowd’s Terms of Service. Politely inform the inquiring party that sharing such information is prohibited and that you must adhere to the platform’s rules.
