Activities covered by Billing Security policy

Requirements for the Billing Security policy on hourly job contracts:

  • Active contract: You are currently engaged in an active hourly job contract
  • ID verification: Verify your ID (identification) and have an “ID Verified” Badge on your profile
  • Payment: Collaborate with a client that has added a verified payment method
  • Account status: Maintain an account in good standing on Cad Crowd
  • Cad Crowd app: Log your billable hours and screenshots with the Cad Crowd desktop app
  • Hourly activities: Add contract-associated activities for hours logged in your Work Journal
  • Memos: Improve your Work Journal with memos or activity tags describing the tasks carried out
  • Activity: Sustain reasonable work activity levels for hours logged with the app
  • Weekly limit: Follow the client’s weekly work limit for billable hours

Activities not covered by the Billing Security policy

Work Journal timesheets that fail to satisfy all the eligibility requirements are excluded from the Billing Security policy.

For instance, the following aren’t covered under the policy:

  • Manual time: Hours logged with manual time entries
  • Idle time: Hourly timesheets with no work activity level
  • No activity/memo: Hours logged without an activity memo and/or with unclear activity descriptions for work activities
  • Hours above weekly limit: Hours that exceed the weekly time limit in the job contract

Billing Security for hourly job contracts does not cover non-qualifying hours, such as:

  • Untracked hours: Manual time entries may encompass milestones, bonuses, and other one-time payments.
  • Weekly retainers: Weekly retainers that are paid in advance and not based on hours logged with the Cad Crowd app.
  • Unverified payment: Payments from clients who still need to authenticate their verified payment methods.
  • Terms of service: Experts that breach Cad Crowd’s terms of service or help other users violate the platform TOS.
  • Fraud: Cases that involve participation in fraudulent actions or exploitation of the Billing Security policy for hourly job contracts.

The Billing Security policy adheres to the terms and conditions mentioned in our terms of service and Escrow Rules for hourly job contracts.
