Create a PayPal account
To efficiently receive expert payouts via PayPal, you must activate a PayPal account before setting it as a Cad Crowd payout option. Upon linking your existing PayPal account to Cad Crowd, it’s essential to add the correct email address linked to your PayPal account.
PayPal might ask you to confirm your account by requesting a government-issued ID or verifying your mailing address. If this condition is relevant to you, any payouts from Cad Crowd during the PayPal verification period will be transferred into your account once your account is authenticated. During this period, Cad Crowd will inform you of any discrepancies via email.

Connect PayPal to your account
You can only use PayPal for payouts if your account name matches your verified legal on your Cad Crowd profile. If you still need to verify your name on Cad Crowd, ensure that the name on your account is identical to your PayPal account name.
Steps to connect your PayPal account:
- Go to settings
- Click Payments & payouts
- Choose + Add email
- Use email address for your PayPal account > click Save button

Note: A 3-day security hold may apply if you connect a new PayPal account and request an immediate payout. The security hold period protects your account balance from 3rd party fraud if your username or password becomes compromised.
🚀 Remember: To use PayPal, the name you’ve verified on Cad Crowd must correspond to the name on your PayPal account.
PayPal payouts & fees
Once your new payout method is active, PayPal will help you accept Cad Crowd payouts into your account directly. Once Cad Crowd sends a payment to your PayPal account, it usually takes 1 business day for your funds to be available.
The withdrawal fees charged by PayPal differ based on the method and currency selected. PayPal may also impose additional fees depending on your geographical location. For instance, payouts from Cad Crowd to certain Asian countries are categorized by PayPal as service payments, thereby incurring extra charges (i.e., Fees in India).
