What the design community expects members:
- Mutual respect with all members of the Cad Crowd community. Use tact when commenting and good judgment when voting on other designer’s work.
- Treat the client as your own customer and respect their decisions and requests. Remember, they are the customer and even if they do not know anything about engineering and design, it is their needs that must be met.
- Let your design speak for itself and do not try to influence buyer decisions by publicly criticizing others in an open forum. Pointing out general design issues while not pointing out a specific entry is acceptable as long as it is done is a respectful manner.
- Do not use the community forum to engage in a designer grudge match. If you have an issue with another community member, please use the private message system to engage them in a professional manner.
- Trying to make private arrangements with clients during a contest is strictly forbidden. You are allowed to offer additional services and interact with a client after a design contest has ended.
- If the design is not your original work, do not post the design.
