Hello,
I’m looking for a skilled interior or industrial designer with a refined and artistic design-sense to bring a concept to life; from design to fabrication and installation oversight in NYC. I’d like to create decorative 3D wall panels or a cover for a pony wall above the staircase in an award-winning house in Williamsburg Brooklyn. The covering is meant to serve a practical function of protecting a felt wool on the walls while reinforcing the aesthetic of the minimalist, playful, and contemporary-art filled home.
Product Details: Design and oversee fabrication of a covering/paneling that will be temporarily hung over a guardrail of a central wrap-around staircase. The staircase is a central feature of the house.
Design: Organic pattern that will add a contemporary, playful touch to the central space
Material: While we're currently considering CNC foam, we're open to exploring alternative materials. The chosen material should be light, soft, and versatile. Should also offer durability and easy maintenance
Ease of installation and removal - Currently considering arms that hook over the guardrail.
Who we’re looking for:
