Hey there! We’re looking for a talented and innovative designer to help us solve a unique and exciting challenge. We’ve developed a completely new type of block with an interlocking mechanism that locks in 3D directions. It interlocks seamlessly with other blocks, allowing us to build perfectly straight walls where each block rests 50/50% on the blocks above and below it. This design is strong, stable, and visually appealing.
However, here's the catch: when trying to build in an L-shape, the current design doesn't quite fit. We need a creative mind to suggest a new alternate design that maintains the same innovative locking system, but is also practical for manufacturing. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the new design works both functionally and aesthetically while keeping it easy to produce at scale.
Additionally, we’ve got another challenge for you. We’ve created a block with a length of 100mm, and we need to build a straight line that ranges anywhere from 450-500mm (with a 10mm tolerance). To achieve this, the blocks will need to have cutting lines that allow them to meet specific length requirements, but here's the twist: the cut needs to ensure the block is locked at least at one of the two round top areas. This ensures the integrity and strength of the wall or structure we're building, even when the block is adjusted in size.
