Overview
We are developing a cutting-edge software platform that allows customers to build and customize firearms in 3D space. The software enables full 360-degree rotation and assembly of firearms, with each individual part represented in 3D.
We are seeking skilled 3D modelers to create high-quality, low-poly models of firearm components from multiple manufacturers. The models must balance visual accuracy and low-poly efficiency to ensure the software runs smoothly and quickly.
Responsibilities
-Model individual firearm parts in 3D with high attention to detail.
-Create both high-poly models for normal mapping and low-poly models (1,000–5,000 polygons depending on the part).
-Ensure models are optimized for smooth performance in real-time software.
-Deliver models in .obj or .fbx format.
-Collaborate with our team to accurately capture reference images and specifications provided.
-Maintain a consistent visual style across all models.
Skill Requirements
-Proficiency in one or more of the following: Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush.
-Expertise in low-poly modeling and optimization for real-time applications.
-Ability to create high-poly models for normal mapping.
-Experience with clean UV mapping and basic material application.
-Strong attention to detail and an understanding of hard-surface modeling techniques.
