Hi I have 11 years experience in CFD as a consultant, R&D manager and Founder of a cloud computing service dedicated to CFD. I am a CFD heat transfer, multi-phase, optimization and automation expert. I use Siemens STAR-CCM+. My CV: ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ I have 24/7 access to: -Siemens support engineers. -a 100,000 cores supercomputer. I just run a job on 7,000 cores with excellent scaling. -a full commercial STAR-CCM+ unlimited cores licence. STAR-CCM+ is the best CFD software at the moment. Most manufacturers worldwide use STAR-CCM+ (see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ite1ql3ezmbcfzx/STAR-CCM%2B%20is%20used%20by%20most%20manufacturers.jpg?dl=0 . This slide is from a presentation by Siemens CEO explaining why Siemens bought CD-adapco last year). STAR-CCM+ also enables the whole CFD workflow to be automated in one script, and it also makes optimization trivial using the SHERPA algorithm (see p.36 of : https://www.dropbox.com/s/uycvt1xuqwtiazk/Spotlight%20On..%20Design%20Manager.pdf?dl=0). Combined with the supercomputer, I can do optimization studies in a fraction of the time it would take other freelancers. I share all my results in real time with my clients though a synchronised folder and CFD 3D viewer. That's great for project communication and progress tracking. Most importantly, you build a solid understanding of your application. I've just started as a freelancer. Throughout my professional experiences I have developed strong expertise in 3D modelling (drafting), rapid prototyping (3D printing) and tooling / building new designs. My specialty lies with my talents of research, communication, and imagination - providing the ability to derive a realistic design from a given idea. I have extensive experience in drafting 3D models from spoken ideas in the office environment, which are then used in communication and negotiation strategies with stakeholders. I have often rendered 3D models to photorealistic quality (Blender and Fusion 360 software) and been able to utilise my visual design expertise to further modify the resulting 2D images (Photoshop and GIMP). These skills have been used in manufacture, simulation, selling, and simple ideation. To substantiate my claims, I have six years of experience as a design engineer, consistently finding myself in a seat for researching, concepting, and communicating solutions.
