Hello! My name is Alex. I come from an academic background in Civil Engineering as well as completing a Master degree in Digital Media. I have a passion for solving complex design problems-- always aiming to achieve efficiency, aesthetic appeal, and design optimization in my work. I currently work as a Design Engineer, where my job requires me to run through the design conceptualization process, moving conceptual work into a 3D CAD model (typically using Inventor, AutoCAD 3D, or Rhino), and finally sending manufacturing/fabrication drawings (2D drawings and design manuals) off to either the in-house or third party fabrication parties. We have over 25 years of experience working in many varied industries from aerospace & military to musical instruments. We use Autodesk Inventor as our main CAD package and can provide services ranging from design concepts through to finished products using our 3D printing knowledge and varied supplier base.
