Having graduated from university with a product design qualification I established myself as a freelance designer helping companies and individuals develop their products and ideas into 3D and creating parts ready for manufacture or prototype. Two years ago I co-foundered a technical design agency offering creative and technical support. We've worked with some big names such as Samsung, Lotus, Dyson, Courvoisier, Pelican, and Softbox to help develop point of sale stands, and product ranges. We use the latest CAD software to develop our models mainly utilising SolidWorks to create technical models, drawings and renders.

As a Steelworks Design Engineer at Framatome, I apply my 13+ years of mechanical design experience to create and optimize steel structures for the auxiliary buildings of the Hinkley Point "C" project, one of the largest and most complex nuclear power plants in Europe. I use various software tools, such as Navisworks, RStab, Mathcad, and AutoCAD, to perform structural calculations, bolted connection design, natural frequency analysis, and 2D detailed drawing creation, following the Eurocode and ETC-C standards and specifications. My mission is to deliver high-quality and cost-effective steelwork solutions that meet the nuclear industry's safety, performance, and sustainability requirements. I collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to ensure the design meets the expectations and needs of the stakeholders.
