I am an experienced Solidworks certified Professional and have been using AutoCAD LT for nearly 20 years. I have the latest releases of both Solidworks & AutoCAD LT and can offer the following design services for my clients: 3D Models/Renders 3D Concepts for presentation 2D Assembly drawings BOM Creation 2D to 3D Conversion Paper to CAD conversions DWG & DXF files supplied for laser and water jet cutting Component drawings I also specialise in industrial packaging design and lineside manufacturing. I have spent many years advising and working alongside clients to provide creative, cost effective and practicle solutions. I like to work very much hands-on with my clients and will keep you updated frequently in order to minimise the need for revisions. My hourly rate is $60. This enables us to produce a complete set of 2D drawings of each part, including drawings of the assemblies, showing every detail required to produce each part and full construction of the finished design, complete with BOM's (Bill of Material's). Everything is linked, so if changes are required, everything updates so making the process that much quicker. For the client who is inventing a new product, we are able to print a solid 3D fully working prototype model of the product enabling you to hold it in your hands and test the product out, cutting out the traditionally expensive route of having prototypes built and reduce the time it takes to get the prototype in your hands. A matter of days, not weeks.

My professional experience has focused on exposure to the design of mechanical components for manual & hydraulically operated valves in the Subsea & Topside Oil & Gas & Flood Defence Industries. Primarily, I use Autodesk Inventor for 3D Modelling and 2D Drafting of parts for manufacturability and assembly. I have a past experience of producing related calculations through the use of MathCAD for safe design of all parts in operation and a growing knowledge of FEA using Inventor for 3D Component Analysis. Other experience includes direct involvement with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Test & Assembly and with client meetings for project reviews and design updates. I am a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, educated to Master’s level in Mechanical Engineering. I am looking for any positions available for Mechanical Design with emphasis on BIM/CAD design. I have experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer within Infrastructure, mainly waste water treatment. I also have experience as a Design Engineer within Building and Biogas. I have mechanical engineering knowledge and skills, but I am an excellent Draftsman. I can model all aspects of plant, equipment and pipework in 3D and produce 2D drawings of GA’s, manufacturing drawings with BOM’s and P&ID’s. I have excellent skills on Solidworks, Revit, AutoCAD (with Plant 3D), Navisworks. My main strengths are in Piping and industrial design and site layouts.
