Preparing BOM and coordinating for the selection of suitable materials for various components to meet design reliability and quality goals. Making detail drawings for pipe lines, plate cutting plan, detail fabrication drawings & schemes for structural steel, field change proposals. Designing and developing piping lay-out and planning studies up to detailed engineering and production of general arrangement & piping fabrication drawings as deliverables. Making general arrangements for piping and equipment sections and details. Routing of process & utility lines as per P&ID, equipment, foundation & structural layout. Developing the conceptual design & piping item as per codes and standards of piping entailing drawings & specification study, vendor selection & finalization, schedule for development, tool modification and final approval. Assisted in preparation of drafting operating procedures for ensuring quality assurance in the preparation and execution of drafting documents. As a mechanical design and manufacturing student at the IIITDM Kancheepuram, I have acquired skills in 3D cad modeling, designing and manufacturing methods, and engineering skills. I hold a 7.82 CGPA. While in the college of design and manufacturing I have strategically focused my coursework in the following areas: - 3D modeling design - Robotics - Manufacturing. Using my knowledge of the above, · National Recognition for My Bracelet design in 3dDesign Monthly Challenge Conducted By Autodesk Company in January 2017. (selected among top 30 designs). · Won 1st prize in Swachh Bharat related 3D Design Challenge.-NOVEMBER 2016. · Won2nd Prize in college mechanical event in which we have created a syringe hydraulic movable mechanism that can cover maximum distance in minimum time · Won 1st prize in a team of 4 Robotics competition on the chamber of secrets (IIITDM college Fest)-MARCH 2017. I was born and brought up in Hyderabad city, India. I started to explore my passion for mechanical design in 2021 right after I quit my job at a non-tech firm. I started to work on industry-oriented projects using CATIA V5, SOLIDWORKS, and Siemens NX softwares. By working on several projects I not only mastered tool proficiency but also the qualities that the real-time Design Engineer in the industry needs, i.e. creativity, analytical skills, and the ability to work with other teams involved in the product life cycle. The most important attribute that a design engineer should have been knowledge of Geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GD and t), It's the language between the designer and the production personnel. After acquiring some decent skills, I was able to secure a job, It was obvious but I also found my actual interest in Rnd and new product development so for now am starting to look forward to upskill myself my presuming a master's degree in Germany and starting a power packed career.
