I have been working in this field (design for manufacturability) for over 4 years. I have a technical knowledge in mechanical design gained from higher education as well as experience. Currently I'm using Fusion 360 to create mechanical models, FEA, engineering drawing as well as generating g-code for CNC manufacturing. I also have knowledge in proper material selection for the parts based on the function, environment, cost, adaptability as well as service life of the part.
