I happen to be a relentless problem solver with experience working with Solidworks to produce 3D models and technical documentation for components and assemblies. I recently developed prototype robot grippers for various robotics and factory automation systems with Numatic Engineering. These projects required careful measurement and analysis which led to 3D modeling that was often used to produce drawings for manufacturing or support. I've been designing Fire Sprinkler Systems for commercial buildings for nearly 10 years. I mostly work with 2D construction plans, but I also create 3D models for BIM projects. Along the way I have also worked as a Patent Illustrator for an innovative prosthetic limb/socket company, helping to protect their intellectual property.
