Savage Single Feed Follower, Freshly Machined.

Designed in Rhino, while the tool paths were created with MadCAM. This part is shown freshly cut on the 3 axis Bridgeport. It's a single feed follower for older model Savage rifles. While it functions very well, it was replaced by a different design. Some interesting things to note on this, are the ramp and engraving angles. The ramp angle allows the feeding of even empty cases, while the engraving is along multiple angles and curves.
