I have over 8 years of design experience where I've had to use different CAD software types to design, develop and manufacture various projects. These range from fully automated machinery through to building layouts and designs. I qualified from the top university on my continent, the University of Cape Town and passed achieving academic honours. Notable Designs: Automatic Drilling and Vent Insertion Machine: Extremely complex, large project with various components ranging from pneumatic to electrical. Required advanced machining such as wire cutting, laser cutting and waterjet cutting. Resulted in an increased production rate of 10.9x. Reduced floor space required by 23% per unit with new design of bulk material loading machine. Designed new factory to double production volume size (from 4 compression moulding machines to 8). Designed specialized capping chucks which were wire cut with a tapered angle to vary pressure on plastic cap knurls (to grip onto these without slipping and without damaging them).
