I initially delved into 3D printing and modelling as a hobby to supplement my degree, but it quickly evolved into a strong passion of mine and is now my primary field of interest. Hello! My name is Sina Valizadeh and I'm from Victoria, BC, Canada. I completed the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Victoria in 2019. Currently, I work for local design and manufacturing companies as a mechanical designer. I have gained most of my experience designing and manufacturing parts using 3D printing and sheet metal. My overall career goal is to design and manufacture assistive and prosthetic devices for individuals to help them break down barriers between themselves and the activities they want to engage in. I am a co-founder and the lead designer of a non-profit organization dedicated to this end. I hope we can work together!
