I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently working at Aerotech Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer in their Research and Development department. I have over 4 years CAD experience in software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and ANSYS. I have over 6 years of experience in the field of architecture, including 3+ years of post graduation work experience. My education and experience have provided me with the sensibility necessary to effectively discover quality design solutions to the infinite number of scenarios in the real world. ArchiCAD was my software of choice during my education, and what I used during my position as competition architect for Boltshauser Architekten. During the past 3 years, I used AutoCAD nearly every working day, and for the last month I have used Revit every working day. I have a great deal of experience in producing drawing sets. I am a mechanical engineer that has developed a passion for product development, design, and manufacturing. Since my graduation from the University of Pittsburgh I have been working for a small manufacturing company for 4+ years. My main tasks there are 3D modeling, technical drawing for manufacturing and quality control. I use SolidWorks to create part models, assembly models and 2D technical drawings. I also utilize SolidWorks to design for manufacturing, check interference on assemblies, animation and visualization of my projects.
