I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently working at Aerotech Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer in their Research and Development department. I have over 4 years CAD experience in software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and ANSYS. I have approximately 9 months of full time engineering design experience, but also did design work through all 4 years of college. I also have a background in matlab and python programming.

I am a graduate Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh's Swanson School of Engineering. I am in a dual field of Structural and Robotic Engineering. Right now I am working on a structural project that will be going on the International Space Station in 2019 and a Solar Panel Project for a small village in Panama. I am a mechanical engineer that has developed a passion for product development, design, and manufacturing. Since my graduation from the University of Pittsburgh I have been working for a small manufacturing company for 4+ years. My main tasks there are 3D modeling, technical drawing for manufacturing and quality control. I use SolidWorks to create part models, assembly models and 2D technical drawings. I also utilize SolidWorks to design for manufacturing, check interference on assemblies, animation and visualization of my projects. I am capable of handling all aspects of a project from initial design all the way to manufacturing. I graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I have been a mechanical design engineer professionally for the last 7 years working on everything from 3D printed plastic clips, to custom automation machines and custom machine tooling for assembly presses. I have experience in designing for 3D printing as well as GD&T and design for more traditional manufacturing processes like plastic injection molding and CNC machining.
