With a knack for design and the call for restless creativity, he strives to redefine aesthetics, breathing life into every solution with a unique blend of imagination and precision. Whether freelancing his way through the industry or interning at a mission-driven company, he is willing to deliver a new, unique and satisfying collaborative experience for his future partners—with an eclectic skillset of mechanical product design and analysis, ergonomic design, A-level surface modelling, prototyping, graphic design, and presentation. You may see a watch, but he sees a wearable clock device. You see a normal car, he sees a four-wheeled diesel-powered bicycle. Then, conveyed results to the design group to aid in obtaining structurally sound components per customer requirements. ● Performed stress analysis for interior and exterior aircraft components on various aeronautical programs and detailed results in a professional report format. o Performed static stress analysis on the addition of an antenna to the outer skin of aircraft fuselage. o Utilized Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to achieve optimal design for the critical clevis attachment of a 1200+ lbm to the aircraft frame. ● Proactively programmed spreadsheets to generate analysis of common parts and output results into proper report format. ● Coordinated with design groups to update parts according to results of stress analysis. ● Worked with manufacturing, purchasing and test sites to coordinate completion of test samples. o Prepared all component level test plans and report for P1009 (500+ total). o Analyzed effects of large payload attached to critically stressed components of the wingbox. Seasoned senior hardware design engineer with day job at NASA working space flight projects. My specialty is machine design for robotic applications, specifically high force/torque density electric actuators. I am an expert in CAD design and GD&T, while also proficient in FEA. I am well rounded with deep understandings of software and electrical systems within robotics and design hardware that considers all three disciplines. I love 3D printing as a hobby and maintain printers at home, some purchased, some home built. Rapid iteration of a design using a 3D printer is a lot of fun for me.
