Started working in drafting environment at DMMR subcontractor at SAPPI (Mpumalanga) in P&ID program to draft all current pipelines at the Sappi Ngodwana Plant. Embarked on an overseas experience of the United Kingdom and Scotland's Isles. On return to South Africa started work at Kroep & Rossouw Land Surveyors office as a CAD operator. Relocated to Stellenbosch, Western Cape to join the team at Friendleander Burger & Volkmann Land Surveyors. Duties ranged from CAD office operations & Assistant on general applications sketsplans and porfolio compilation for local council on Land Use Applications.

I am a mechatronic engineering graduate from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. I have over 6 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor Professional through my studies, design competitions and personal projects. I also have limited experience with Creo parametric thanks to two stints of vacation training that I undertook with company that designs armoured personnel carriers. I have won the Stellenbosch Mechanical and Mechatronic Final Year Project “Best Use of Inventor” Prize for design and modelling in Autodesk Inventor in 2019. I was also part of the winning team in the SqwidNet IOT University Challenge for design and prototyping of an anti-rhino poaching “smart collar” in 2018.
