Ashraf is an accredited Architect with 17 years of professional experience, 14+ years of which are in the U.A.E, in Architecture Design and Project Management. As has developed a diverse portfolio of projects and has been engaged in various projects in the U.A.E, K.S.A and Egypt amongst others, with an extensive experience in residential projects, Hotels of various budgets and requirements, as well as commercial, mixed use, and Shopping malls.


Roles & Responsibilities

Project Management: Managing all design aspects of the project, including all correspondence, client/PM meetings, authority approvals and sub-consultants. Managed projects from Pre- Concept through to tender issue, including clarifications to Tenderers’ queries. Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and planned duration while meeting client needs and design guidelines. Architectural Design: Generating and developing design ideas that best suit the client needs.
Familiarity with building code as it applies to each project and regulations as well. Hold discussions with the Employer and PM I PMC and receive final comments on the Design stage submissions.
Interior Design: Assisting in producing space plans and selection of furniture, finishes, fabrics, lighting, fixtures, other accessories etc. Manage the entry of Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) specifications from the interior design specification book to project installation. Review pricing, material and value engineering for projects. Provide solutions to design problems and generate design alternatives. Provide technical design resolution and proper coordination works with other disciplines to achieve the design intent.
Project Coordination: Facilitating multi-disciplinary coordination involved in the project, including architecture, ID, structure, MEP, VT, Landscape and Interior Design, Cost management etc.
QA/QC: Carry out quality reviews and checks to ensure project operations are in line with industry best practices.
Proposal Management: Preparing technical and commercial proposals for various projects. Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, including scope of services as well as Variation orders for the serves beyond the prime contract.
Client Relations: Communicating and working with clients to meet their requirements through the project life time reaching the project/ phase closing. Established and maintained successful relationships with various high profile clients and developers.
