About
With nearly a decade of hands-on experience in cruise ship design, I specialize in creating efficient, buildable solutions for complex systems within machinery spaces. My work is grounded in a solid understanding of ship construction - from the keel up - which enables me to design with both functionality and feasibility in mind.
I focus on the detailed design and 3D modeling of piping, ducts, cable trays, machinery layouts, foundations, lifting arrangements, exhaust systems, sea and tank connections, gratings, and pipe rack modules. One of my key strengths is routing these systems in extremely confined spaces - finding practical solutions where space is limited and precision is critical.
My background in IT allows me to streamline and optimize the design process through automation, especially for repetitive tasks. I’m passionate about CAD and parametric design, and bring strong proficiency in tools such as Microstation and Intergraph Smart 3D. I'm also quick to learn new software and adapt to evolving workflows.
I understand the demands of shipbuilding: efficiency, accuracy, and coordination across disciplines. My goal is always to deliver designs that are not only technically sound, but ready for production, reducing rework and delays at the yard.
As a strong advocate for decarbonization and renewable technologies, I look forward to contributing to a more sustainable future for the maritime industry - bringing together solid engineering, smart tools, and forward-thinking design.
