This project involved creating a 3D printed model for a future aluminum casting. The piece represents the upper part of an artisan lamp post, designed to hold multiple luminaires around its perimeter. The design is symmetrical, allowing for two identical printed parts to be used to create a complete final piece. The project was developed using Fusion 360 for modeling, while Ultimaker Cura was employed for slicing the model for 3D printing. After slicing, the model was printed using a 3D printer, providing a physical prototype for the aluminum casting process.
