A render of an old modeling project of mine. I wanted to test myself, so I chose a car that required me to utilize a range of techniques; some parts, such as the rims, are geometric with hard edges and demand an eye for detail, while the body of the car requires a sense of shape and the ability to model softer more organic shapes while retaining the sharp look. Finally, the task was tricky because the look of the car is so well-known that any mistake is instantly visible – though not always easy to correct.
