Automotive CAD Design /Satrun Side Mirror

The goal was to utilize research techniques, design skills, and manufacturing skills. The CAD software(NX9) was used in the first stage of the design to build the case frame, backing plate, adhesive pad, and the glass. The second stage is to build the detentes and post attached to the case. Finally, the design of the base was modified to accommodate a rotation motor of the case as well as the design for assembly (DFA) was included too.
