Bottle Preform Loader

The challenge was to design a mechanism to transfer the injection molded preforms into a blow molding machine. The preforms, however got stacked automatically due to their geometry. To solve that issue the following mechanism was devised. This is only a conceptual model. The solution that came to my mind can be seen in the animation below.
