Centrifuge Safety Controller Mainboard

Primary control and interconnect PCB for a laboratory centrifuge. Features include: -DC power regulation and distribution for the entire device. -Interfaces for two COTS motor controllers. -SSR drive for small solenoid actuators. -Harnessed connections for various optical and magnetic switches. -STM32F103 which performs signal processing of an offboard accelerometer as an imbalance detection mechanism. -Reinforced insulation barrier isolates signals from high voltage motor to meet safety requirements. -Fully redundant hardware safety interlock circuit prevents the user from coming into contact with the spinning rotor in order to fulfill machine safety requirements for CE certification. -Analog tachometers which tie into the safety interlock to determine if the rotor is spinning as well as provide a hardware overspeed cutoff.
